TX-794 AFJROTC SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAM
The showcase of the TX-794 AFJROTC is its Special Operations Team (SOT). The Cooper SOT is made up of a group of highly-motivated and dedicated volunteer cadets who train in drill and ceremonies, physical fitness, academics and model rocketry. Below is a brief description of each team.
Unarmed Drill Team
The Unarmed Drill Team is a special marching unit that performs regulation and exhibition unarmed drill

Armed Drill Team
The Armed Drill Team is a special marching unit that performs regulation and exhibition armed drill using demilitarized and facsimile weapons.
Sabre Team
The Sabre Team is a special unit that performs regulation, exhibition and escort drill using ceremonial sabres.
Color Guard
The Color Guard is a special marching unit that performs regulation color guard drill and escorts the National and other colors during school sporting events and other activities to include veteran, civic and other local groups.
Flag Corps
The Flag Corps is an elite group of cadets who raise and lower the flag at school events, especially home football games. Flag Corps members also receive and fold that flags carried onto the field by the football team.
Physical Fitness (PT) Team
The PT Team is a group of extremely fit cadets who dedicate their time to fitness and competing in PT events at drill competitions.
Rocket Club
The Rocket Club is a group of cadets who train to build and launch model rockets. They perform demonstrations at local schools and compete in rocketry competitions.
